According to the market information, the aluminum price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed strong recently. On December 17th, the aluminum price has touched a new high in the recent one and half months, with US$2,749/ton.

Among them, the main reason for the strong price of aluminum was the sliding output of alumina in China, which stimulated the market to worry about future supply.

Moreover, the aluminum inventory on the LME also showed a decline on December 17th, decreased by over 5,000 tons, came to around 979,600 tons.
