The US government announced that they were going to impose sanction against Russia companies and the related government officials including Oleg Deripaska, and it caused the price of aluminum rebound to US$2,042/ton.

The US government claimed that it was mainly to response to malicious activity which Russia did around the world. In addition, the LME aluminum price rose to US$2,042/ton on April 6th, and there was a reversal on nickel price recently.

According to the analyst, RUSAL was the primary aluminum provider in the world. Once the US initiated the sanction to Russia, it might cause the impact on the metal-related goods worldwide.
