According to the quarterly report of the third quarter released by Alcoa, a leading supplier of bauxite, alumina and aluminum products in the world, the firm’s operating performance during the quarter continued to be strong and the aluminum value chain was also stable. Alcoa’s CEO said the firm’s bauxite and alumina production both hit a new high in the third quarter.
Besides, Alcoa expected that its bauxite business will keep going upward in the fourth quarter of this year, and the firm’s aluminum business will get benefits from lower alumina costs.
