Alcoa Corporation, the world's eighth-largest producer of aluminum, had announced its prediction of the global aluminum needs in 2019.
The latest expectation showed the growth of global aluminum needs would increase 1.25%-2.25% in this year, lower than the previous expectation.
The reason why Alcoa Corporation decreased the prediction was because of the global trade conflict which influenced the demand of the world.
Although the demand showed weaker, the output was still maintaining the same level, which might cause over 500,000-1,300,000 tons of aluminum had been oversupplied.
