Novelis Inc., a Georgia-based industrial aluminum company, has inked a new contract with Ardagh Metal Packaging USA to supply its aluminum beverage packaging sheets to the aluminum beverage packaging producer’s production facilities in North America.
Oliver Graham, Chief Executive Officer of Ardagh Metal Packaging, said that they are proud of their cooperation with Novelis, which shares the focus on sustainability and innovation.
This new contract is Novelis’ third major agreement signed for the North American beverage packaging market in less than seven months.
The company foresaw that the global demand for aluminum beverage packaging sheets would grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4% during the period from 2023 to 2031, driven by consumer preferences for more sustainable products and size varieties, as well as a wider range of canned beverage types.
