According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), global primary aluminum production was 5.8613 million tons in November last year, consumption was 5.9714 million tons, and the supply shortage was around 80,000 tons.
Meanwhile, global bauxite production was around 32.35 million tons, and global alumina output was 11.82 million tons.
In the first 11 months of last year, global primary aluminum production amounted to 63.8 million tons, consumption was 63.2 million tons, and there was a surplus of around 600,000 tons. Global bauxite production reached approximately 357.29 million tons, and global alumina production totaled around 129.86 million tons.
