Alumina, an aluminum products manufacturer based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has reached an agreement with RMU Banovici, a local coal mining company, for the procurement of approximately 200,000 tons of coal in 2024.
The contract value depends on the quality of the coal, with an estimated value in a range from 35 to 40 million Bosnian marka.
Alumina and RMU Banovici have had a collaboration since the end of 2012. Over the past 11 years, RMU Banovici has supplied Alumina with roughly 1.75 million tons of coal.
