C.S. Aluminium Corporation (CSAC), a subsidiary of China Steel Corporation (CSC), has successfully developed high-quality anti-corrosion aluminum anode ingot required by underwater steel structures. The company is now actively improving the efficiency of automated production, and the production capacity was expected to increase by three times after the improvement.
Offshore wind turbines must be designed with a lifetime of 25 years, so the quality of pipe frame assemblies, welding ways, and steel structures is very important, especially it should prevent the whole structure from being eroded by seawater.
After a one-year electrochemical test and related tests, CSAC's anti-corrosion aluminum anode ingot received Norway's DNV certificate in September 2021.
