At present, Yunnan province is experiencing a dry season. Due to the low water level, the Southwest region is suffering from a severe power shortage.
Under this situation, Yunnan Province may impose a new round of production restrictions on electrolytic aluminum production in February. With this new policy, the total production capacity of electrolytic aluminum in the province was expected to be reduced by about 650,000 tons.
So far, the relevant production reduction notice has not been declared.
