According to an announcement from the European Commission, the suspension of the definitive anti-dumping (AD) duties on imports of aluminum flat-rolled products originating in China will not be prolonged.
This measure was suspended on October 12 last year due to the temporary imbalance between supply and demand in the post-epidemic recovery period.
After investigating market developments during the period of analysis, the market situation, and the opinions of importers and users, the Commission concluded that the conditions for extending the suspension of the measures are no longer satisfied.
The definitive AD duty rate on the subject products kept in a range from 14.3% to 24.6%, applied to aluminum products, flat rolled, whether or not alloyed, whether or not further worked than flat rolled.
